Editorial Policy

TextCaret publishes two kinds of content: practical guides on each tool page, and longer articles in our Content section. This page explains how that content is produced and maintained.
How content is produced
All guides and articles are written and reviewed by the TextCaret maintainers. Factual claims, such as platform character limits, encoding standards or SEO guidelines, are checked against official documentation and primary sources at the time of publication.
Updates and corrections
Platforms change their limits and rules over time. When we learn that a published fact is outdated or wrong, we correct the page. Articles display their publication date; if you spot an error, report it to contact@textcaret.com and we will review it.
Advertising and independence
TextCaret is supported by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguishable from content, advertisers have no influence over what we write or how tools behave, and we do not publish sponsored content presented as editorial. We do not sell user data, the tools never see a server in the first place.
What we will not do
We do not invent statistics, testimonials or reviews. We do not make claims about the tools that we cannot verify. If a number appears on this site, it is either computed by a tool from your input or sourced from documentation we can point to.
